Hard at work producing containers for some of the finest wines in the world, the people at Ye Olde Barrel & Cask Makers hardly have time to trim the moss. This dark, rustic stone and wood building is slowly becoming overgrown with rich green moss, from the foundation to the ceiling. The front entryway, which is shaped like the bottom of a barrel, is surrounded by the bright green vegetation and topped with a detailed white sign. The roof of Ye Olde Barrel & Cask Makers also mimic the appearance of a dark wooden barrel. In an opening in the right side of this charming two-story shop, a master maker puts the finishing touches on his latest cask creation. In front of the shop, finished barrels, detailed tools, and partially completed projects like the ground.
