This KitchenAid 30-inch under cabinet vent hood KVUB600D features a powerful, 4-speed motor with a 600 CFM fan that allows for installation over any regular KitchenAid 36 or 30-inch range or cooktop, as well as some commercial-style cooking surfaces with outputs up to 65K BTU. The Auto Speed Setting takes the guesswork out of protecting your cabinets from steam, grease and moisture by automatically adjusting the fan speed to ventilation needs, depending on the heat from your cooktop. And, Perimeter Ventilation increases efficiency by pulling air from the edges of the hood and speeding up the movement of the air at the center.
